About Name Patches
Professional Identification That Lasts
Name patches are small embroidered or woven patches that display a person's name, title, or role — used as a means of professional identification on uniforms, workwear, and organizational clothing.
They are used in virtually every industry that uses uniforms — healthcare, hospitality, law enforcement, military, security, retail, manufacturing, and more. A well-made name patch communicates professionalism and helps customers, colleagues, and the public quickly identify team members.
At EmbPunch, our name patches are digitized with correct pull/push compensation so your lettering comes out clean and consistent across every patch in the batch — not just the first one. For high-volume name list orders, every name is individually optimized for the same font and sizing.
- Any font — matched exactly

Yes — bulk name list orders are our specialty. Send us your list of names and we'll produce each one individually with consistent font, sizing, and backing. Price is per patch based on quantity and size.
Yes — name patches can include the person's name, job title, department, company logo, or any combination. Specify the layout you need in the special instructions when ordering.
We recommend a minimum letter height of 0.25 inches for clear, readable lettering. Below that size, thin lettering can lose definition in embroidery. For very small text, woven patches may be a better option — see our woven patches page.
